Flurbiprofen (systemic)

Uses

  • Relief of signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis
  • Treatment of pain in ankylosing spondylitis
  • Treatment of dysmenorrhea
  • Treatment of pain in individuals with soft tissue injuries

Considerations for PT

  2. Minimal relevant common adverse effects. Monitor for any symptoms of rare adverse effects as appropriate.

Mechanism of Action

Inhibits the production of prostaglandins, resulting in decreased fever, pain, and/or inflammation.
