Adverse Effects

Considerations for PT

  1. Beta blockers blunt the heart's response to exercise. Consider clinical signs such as perceived rate of exertion over heart rate monitoring in individuals on beta blockers
  2. Minimal relevant common adverse effects. Monitor for any symptoms of rare adverse effects as appropriate.

  • Decreased sympathetic activity
